Debra began her career as an editor, then became a ghostwriter for a popular local shopping maven. She has created and published graphic novels with Caliber Press, and has published a variety of short stories, web articles, catalog copy, blogs, podcast show notes, and jacket copy; tutored young writers; and worked as an editor and proofreader of fiction and nonfiction.

She is also a certified Montessori teacher and administrator with a passion for seeing each person reach their full potential.
